With over 35 years of experience in the educational field, Coach Bear came to College Park High School in August 2020 as the head coach for the Cavalier Boys Soccer team.
Coach Bear obtained a Master's degree in Educational Management with Principals Certification from the University of Houston-Clear Lake (1992) and a Bachelor’s Degree in both History and Kinesiology from The University of Texas (1983). He is also a certified Biology teacher.
Before becoming part of the College Park family, Coach bear taught and coached in Laporte, Goose Creek, Aldine, Crosby, and Clear Lake ISDs. He has taught a variety of subjects including Biology, Horticulture, Advanced Animal Science, Vet Technician, Texas Fisheries, Forensic Science, Food Science, and Entrepreneurship.
Coach Bear has an extensive coaching career with experience in football, soccer, track & field, basketball, and cross country. While coaching at Aldine ISD, Coach Bear earned the Soccer Coach of the Year award and reached the state playoffs after 3 years of spearheading the program.

Coach Ehlert grew up in Brenham, TX, and is a graduate of Texas A&M University. While at A&M, he spent his time as a member of the Corps of Cadets and working for Texas A&M’s football team. Upon graduating with a degree in Kinesiology, Coach Ehlert worked as a graduate assistant for Stephen F. Austin University’s football program. After his time at SFA, he moved to central Texas where he spent two years as a coach and algebra teacher at Copperas Cove ISD. This is Coach Ehlert’s sixth year at College Park, where he teaches Algebra I and also coaches football. He spends his free time with his wife Danielle, and their 3-year-old old baby girl, Emerson.
Coach Clark grew up in Jacksonville, Texas, and graduated from high school in 2003 from Millard West High School in Omaha, Nebraska. In high school, he was part of the 2001 State Championship football team. He graduated from Jacksonville College in 2005 and Stephen F. Austin State University in 2009, where he majored in Kinesiology. This is his 11th year as a high school coach and his 6th year coaching at College Park. In addition to coaching soccer, Coach Clark is also a football coach and he teaches Algebra 1. He is married to his wife, Melissa, and has three children; Hunter, Beaux, and Evie.
